Whether you have never set foot in a studio or you are returning after years away, this program was built for you. The Dance Barre Southern Illinois's Beginning Ballet Program is a 12-week course created exclusively for adults of all backgrounds and experience levels.
You will build strength, poise, and confidence in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. Our instructors specialize in helping adults succeed — meeting you where you are and guiding you every step of the way.

Register through our client portal at $125 / 28 days. All program benefits included.
Receive your confirmation
You'll get an email with class details, what to wear, and everything you need to prepare for your first Sunday.
Start exploring open classes
Your enrollment includes a FREE Premium Membership for the full 12 weeks — unlimited access to all of our open classes. You don't have to wait until May 31 to get started.
Show up
Beginning Ballet classes start Sunday, May 31. We will take care of the rest.

YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Kristin Hurst
Kristin is a lifelong student of dance with training in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and Latin. With three years of teaching experience and a personal history of performing with studios across the country, she brings genuine joy to every class. At The Dance Barre Southern Illinois, Kristin is passionate about creating a space where adults feel capable, celebrated, and at home from day one.
Hannah Craft
Hannah began her dance journey at age four and has performed in productions including The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. With a teaching philosophy centered on inclusivity and encouragement, Hannah believes that everyone can learn ballet and that every dancer brings something unique to the studio.

Submit a written request to southil@dancebarrebcs.com before the start of your fifth week. Refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval.
